Dr Yen Tran is a medical oncologist who completed her medical training with the University of Melbourne at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in 2001.
Her specialty training in medical oncology was at the Austin and Royal Melbourne Hospitals. In 2009, she completed a medical research fellowship at the Austin hospital participating in multiple pivotal international phase 1 to phase 3 clinical trials in many areas of oncology.
Dr Tran’s main areas of interest include breast and uro-oncology. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and Medical Oncology Group of Australia. She takes an active role with the University of Melbourne as a clinical tutor for medical students and advanced medical trainees.
Dr Tran firmly believes in a holistic approach to patient care. She is caring and compassionate about her work and aims to deliver a comprehensive approach to patient care in a team environment. She consults at Epworth Richmond.
